"Polyrachis" Formicarium

This terrarium has been specially designed to meet the needs of Polyrachis sp. but also for other species with similar habits such as myrmicaria arachnoides.

Indeed, the natural and rot-proof cork decor offers a multitude of cracks, crevices, anfractuosities and holes suitable for the construction of silk nests!

The ground covered with peat and moss-mix will have a buffer effect on the hygrometry and will allow you to maintain a sufficient ambient humidity in this module so that the larvae can spin the silk without worries!

We recommend you to use this module only to house your colony and to connect it to a hunting area for feeding! This will avoid unnecessary clogging of the "living" part of the nest.
