This formicarium with a stone nest can accommodate a wide range of ant species, you can regulate the humidity of the nest by filling the vertical tube according to the needs of the species maintained!
The nest is provided with two distinct entrances: the first one gives access only to three rooms, the second one gives access to the rest of the nest!
This feature allows you to close the second door during the first phases of development of your colony.
The handmade decoration makes each terrarium unique!
The peat is fixed to the resin which allows you to humidify the decor to grow mosses and micro-plants!
Be careful if you humidify the decor regularly, you have to space out or stop watering the nest through the vertical tube to avoid saturation of the nest with humidity, unless the species you are keeping appreciates these conditions of course!
The lid of the formicarium is pierced with a 16mm diameter hole allowing you to connect one or more hunting areas to your ant farm, which allows you to create a network of interconnected formicariums to maintain very large colonies...
